AI, where it actually works.

I’m at the point where computing hardware, software and engineering meet, and that’s where AI does its real work. I bring 40+ years across all three.

More than automation. That means AI that takes busywork off your plate, software built around your business, and ideas for engineering tools that take a drawing towards a design, a bill of materials and a budget.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Happy to work with businesses from Noosa to Brisbane.

Concept demo Concept film: a 604 m² office taken from drawing to network design and illustrative budget in Network Studio. Watch the full film or explore all three Engineering Studios

Watch a drawing become a network design.

  1. A drawing comes in.

A 604 m² office drawing, the same starting point as any fit-out.

  2. Every outlet and access point placed.

52 outlet locations for 41 seats and 4 ceiling Wi-Fi access points, placed on the plan.

  3. Raised into 3D.

The plan becomes a 3D building you can turn and inspect, with walls, ceilings and the comms room in place.

  4. Cable runs routed above the ceiling.

57 permanent links routed back to two 48-port PoE switches in a 42RU rack, measured for an illustrative budget.

Change the spec. The budget follows.

In the Network Studio concept demo, a design decision is a click. Links, cable, switch ports and an illustrative installed price update together. Imagine weighing options like this with a client in the room.

Three disciplines. One conversation.

Plenty of people can talk about AI. Fewer can design the network, write the software and understand the engineering. You get all three in the same conversation.

Engineering

  • Network and solution design
  • Takeoffs and bills of materials
  • Wi-Fi and RF
  • Fibre and underground comms

Software

  • AI agents
  • Agent orchestration
  • Custom apps
  • Full-stack builds

Hardware

  • Computing and edge
  • IoT and embedded
  • IT/OT integration
  • Enterprise networks

Stephen Lilley, founder of wildlynx.ai

Real experience, now with AI.

I'm Stephen Lilley, and wildlynx.ai is me. I have spent 40+ years in telecommunications, networks and systems integration, and now I build AI into the kind of work I have done for decades.

You deal directly with me, the person doing the work. No account managers, no hand-offs.

More about me

Start small. See results first.

No big-bang projects. Each step has to earn the next one.

  1. Talk it through

A free conversation about your business, on the Coast or online. I look for the jobs where AI would genuinely help, and I'll tell you if it would not.

  2. Prove it on one job

A small, fixed-scope first project on a real task, so you see the time saved or the idea working before spending more.

  3. Build and grow

Roll it out properly, connect it to your systems and keep improving it as your business changes.

Available to businesses across the Sunshine Coast, including Noosa, Maroochydore and Caloundra, plus Gympie and Brisbane.

Questions people ask

Can’t see yours? Ask me directly.

What does wildlynx.ai do?

wildlynx.ai is my Sunshine Coast consultancy, working where computing hardware, software and engineering meet. I help businesses save time with AI automation, build new AI-powered software, and explore AI in engineering work, such as taking a drawing towards a design and bill of materials.

Do I need to know anything about AI to get started?

No. The first conversation is about your business, not the technology. You describe the jobs that take too long or the idea you want to build, and we work out together whether AI is a good fit, what it would cost and what you would get back.

Where is wildlynx.ai based?

I am based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and available to businesses across Noosa, Maroochydore, Caloundra, Gympie and Brisbane. I can meet you in person on the Coast or online anywhere in Australia.

Is my business data safe with AI tools?

Most AI tools send the content they work on to an AI model provider, so choosing the right provider and settings for your data is part of every project. I keep access limited to what the automation needs, keep it reviewable, and talk you through where your data goes before anything is switched on. Sensitive steps, such as paying a bill or sending a quote, can always wait for a person to approve them.

Are the demos on this site real software?

They are interactive concept demos. The three Engineering Studios, Network, Water and Energy, run in your browser as storyboards of what AI for engineering could do. I designed and built them myself. They are not products for sale or design tools, and any figures in them are illustrative, not quotes. Network Studio is illustrated on a publicly available reference drawing set. Other examples are clearly labelled as demos.

How much does an AI project cost?

It depends on the job. I start with a free conversation and a small, fixed-scope first step, so you can see real results before committing to anything bigger.

Curious what AI could do?

Tell me about the job that takes too long or the idea you keep coming back to. A first conversation is free, and you will come away knowing whether AI is worth it for you.
